Not sure they know what they are talking about

The devil is always in the details.

In the case of all these public figures, activists, and advocates for change or return to so-called conservative/libertarian ideals, the noise sounds very short-sighted and appears to be poorly thought out.

It looks to be all sizzle with very little substance.

No matter how attractive the concepts, they are based on theory coupled with an actual or perverted idealism that totally and naively ignores human nature; particularly our own revealed history of apathy and individual self-interest at the expense of any altruistic civic attitude.

The only way any of these current conservative/constitutional utopias could come into being would be through some sort of coercion of those not in agreement.

Would you go along peacefully with a severe and restrictive limitation of life choices based on the rigid and blind ideological insistence of citizens essentially caught within their own ignorance?

A career working with the poor, the aged, the needy, the afflicted and the self-inflicted-afflicted makes it kind of hard for me to see the clear clean tea-party and libertarian utopia perspective.

If they bring forth the great idealist change, how many agents of that change will step forth to do the same work voluntarily for those with unrelenting needs but now find themselves trapped within the new and unrealistic paradigm?

Or in that perfect political world will such people no longer exist?

If not, then where will they have gone?

Perhaps more honestly asked, what would the civically-challenged and self-righteous conservative or libertarian victors done about them ….?

… or to them?
