God once flooded the whole thing and started over because of things like this

The middle class ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for  the winter.

The Wall Street grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

Fox News shows up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in  his comfortable home with a table filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can  this be that this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Bill O’Reilly sends a sneak-attack reporter to try to trap the ant into saying something inflammatory on his own doorstep.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity criticize the government for not upholding the fundamental rights of the grasshopper.

Internet sites Free Republic and Teabaggers for Country Take Back are flooded with online petitions seeking support to the grasshopper.

Led by Joel Osteen and Benny Hinn  prosperity televangelists are all preaching anti-ant sermons and requesting doubled donation checks to help resist the godless ungenerous ant.

All republicans in the House of Representatives stage a walkout.

Fox & Freinds demand a Judicial Enquiry which results in Senators Mitch McConnel and Orrin Hatch announcing from the steps of the capitol building a Protection of Grasshoppers From Awful Selfish Terrorism Act (POGFAST) with immediate implementation prior to winter’s arrival.

The ant is fined for failing to comply with POGFAST and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government and handed over to the grasshopper in a ceremony covered by Fox News

… MC’eed by a joyfully weeping Glenn Beck accompanied by the Teabag Tri-Cornered Hats and Chorus.

Former President G.W. Bush calls it "a triumph of justice".

Former President Jimmy Carter says  Bush should be content with picking his nose and leave the intelligent observations to the smarter retired presidents.
